Thank you for volunteering to be a coach or assistant coach this year. It is because of volunteers like you, that the program is what it is today.
All coaches and assistants must have a background check done and renewed every two years. Information on background checks can be found on the Marlboro township website.

Marlboro Township Concussion Policy. Additionally the federal government agency CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) has made available a Parent/Athlete Concussion Information Sheet on their website.
The NFHS concussion course is required by the Marlboro Basketball Association. When an individual is selected to coach (or assistant coach), the prerequisite is that the coach will do the following:
- Submit to the background check
- Take the NFHS concussion course. The course is free and should take about 17 minutes. The course is available here.
